Platteville Power Soccer Club is holding tryouts to form competitive teams for the 2017 / 2018 season! If you love soccer and were born in 2004 through 2010, or 2003 and will enter 8th grade this fall, come and see what we are all about.

- TIME: Registration 5:30 pm
- EVALUATION PERIOD: from 6:00 pm - 7:15 pm
- LOCATION: Legion Park Soccer Fields
- WHAT TO WEAR: A WHITE or Light GREY shirt, shorts, shinguards, socks that fully cover shin guards, cleats.
- WHAT TO BRING: A soccer ball and LOTS of water

GUEST SPEAKER FOR 2017 SOCCER KICKOFF: Margaret Domka

The Platteville Power Soccer Club is excited to announce that FIFA World Cup Referee Margaret Domka will be speaking at our 2017 spring kickoff event at the Platteville High School Commons on Sunday, February 26th from 2:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. Margaret has spend 23 years working towards her goals as an international soccer referee. In 2015, she reached her dream and was the only American selected to referee at the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup. We encourage everyone to come and hear her inspirational story and learn life lessons to help you reach your own dreams!

2017 SPRING SOCCER KICKOFF EVENT! Coaches, players and families of the Platteville Power Soccer Club it is time to get ready for the upcoming 2017 spring soccer season. You are all invited to our kickoff event at the Platteville High School Commons on Sunday, February 26th from 2:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. Come join us and meet the other PPSC coaches and players, hear about the latest club & MYSA updates, order PPSC soccer gear, pick up your 2017 Soccer Cards and enjoy a delicious A&W root beer float!
INFO FOR SPRING REGISTRATION: It's sign-up time again for spring soccer! 2017 spring soccer is available to boys and girls ages 7 to 19. Spring soccer is a travelling season. There are 8 games (4 home and 4 away). The away games can be as far away as the Madison area. Games are on Saturdays or Sundays. Spring practices usually begin in March and the spring season goes until mid-June. The cost is $100.00* for boys and girls with birth years 2009 to 2002 and the cost is $140.00* for boys and girls with birth years 2002 to 1998. Uniforms cost extra unless your child already has one from a previous traveling season. The priority registration date is December 31st, 2016.

· You may order shorts through PPSC, or you may purchase your own

(3) Vote for PPSC board members
(4) Order club t-shirt and sweatshirt apparel.
(5) Donate and/or Purchase items at our Soccer Gear Garage Sale. Remember if you have gently used jerseys, cleats, or black shorts your player is no longer using, you may donate them to the club by dropping them off at Busch Insurance between now and August 8. We will be holding a garage sale at our Fall Kick-Off.
Please Note: A separate check/payment for our Club uniform clothing and for our Club apparel is appreciated for ease and accuracy of record keeping. Thank you for your consideration.

SPRING SKILLS & DRILLS: Our club is hosting a Skills and Drills course to be held on five (5) Saturday's this spring starting on Saturday, April 9th, at Harrison Park Soccer Field, in Platteville. Come and learn and practice drills & skills and scrimmage in game-like situations. The course is offered for boys and girls ages 5-11. The course fee is $30* per child. All fees include a FREE Platteville Power Soccer Club t-shirt if you attend a minimum of 3 Saturday sessions. Find out more information HERE!

NEW REFEREE COURSE: Our club is co-hosting a New Referee Course to be held Saturday, March 5th, in Mineral Point. You are invited to take this opportunity to earn a USSF Referee Badge to support our sport. The minimum age requirement to complete the course is at least 12 years-old by the in-class date. The course fee is $70 and you are eligible for a refund after refereeing a minimum number of games for PPSC in 2016. Find out more information HERE!

Also, we will have a special presentation from the Fields family to hear all about their trip to the Netherlands this last year and their soccer experiences there. Hope to see you all Sunday!

Uniforms cost extra unless your child already has one from a previous traveling season. The deadline for sign-up is January 29, 2016.
